The crew wanted to do a 6hr trolling trip but there really isn't anything worth trolling for quite yet. We changed plans and went for the elusive sheepshead; aka: rockpile pick pocket. We worked the jetties and ended up with 14 nice sheepshead, lost a half dozen or so, and threw back several small ones. It turned out to be pretty nice conditions for most of the day. We had an amazing experience while we were out there today!!! A bottlenose dolphin came by the boat for a very intimate visit. He hung out beside the boat talking to us with his whistles, apparently asking for a handout. He didn't mind performing either. He would come up out of the water and grab our handouts just like at Sea World. It was really special and something I've never seen in the wild before. He would go from boat to boat basically asking for handouts. It was quite amazing to say the least. You never know what your gonna see on the water; It's what makes each day an adventure! What a way to spend the day. We had a great crew, a great bite of fish, a great experience with one of God's creatures, and a great story that will never get old!! Thanks for the trip guys!!
