Had a free day so me and a close friend headed out to do some blue water fishing for the day. The ocean was pretty nice so we stretched the boat out and didn't slow down until we reached 130 feet. We put lines in and within 30 minutes, we had a screamer! After a 45 minute struggle and over a mile distance, I stuck the gaff in an 80lb wahoo. What a beautiful fish! After that the troll slowed down pretty good so we went to bottom fishing. We limited out on nice beeliners, caught some several triggerfish and red porgies, and Marty caught a mutton snapper. After we caught everything we could offshore, we stopped off at some closer number on the way home and limited out on black sea bass. We kept the rods bent!! Great mess of fish for only 2 people in the boat.
