Today we were looking for action and we found it first thing with some artificials. The blues were on fire. We sat anchored and pulled bluefish after bluefish for almost 2 hours. Almost every cast a bluefish was coming to the boat. After that we went for some sheepshead and we caught several of them too. Everytime I take a crew sheepshead fishing, they gain a new respect for the difficulty a sheepshead presents to being hooked. We ended the day nicely with 13 nice sheepshead, at least 50 bluefish, a black margate, and 2 mangrove snapper. We kept the rods bent!!

Where's the picture of the black margate you mentioned in your fishing report from April 8, 2009?
The blackmargate is in the top row on the right. Didn't take a good picture of him. I promise, the next black margate we catch, I will take a good picture of it.
