Today had to be the worst blown forecast I have ever seen. I mean I have bad mouthed the weather man like any good fisherman but today it wasn't even close. West at 5-10 turned into north 15. Started at the jetties jigging up greenies; left there and headed down the beach to top off the live well with pogies. Started at the red tops for 45 minutes and no strikes. We headed offshore to MG; nothing. Left MG and went to MF; nothing; Left MF and went to CH, picked up a lost king and lost a couple more to pulled hooks. Left CH and went to BR looking for AJ's; Nothing. We did manage a couple nice mangroves, a kitty mitchel grouper, a couple beeliners, and a 24lb jack crevalle though. Left BR and went to CB still looking for AJ's. We didn't find any AJ's but if you want to catch a barracuda, I know where they are stacked up! Great crew in tough conditions. Made the 30 mile ride back in to a cross cutting 15mph NW wind (not very nice). Thank you guys for a great day and I appreciate your generosity! I look forward to fishing with you again!!
