We went offshore this morning expecting flat seas. I had visions of big beeliners from Elton dancing in my head. Started offshore to be greeted by less than desireable seas of course. We stopped short at TW and waited for the wind and seas to lay down. We ended up with a few beeliners and a nice cobia (24lbs) at TW before we headed off to Elton. Fished a few spots at Elton and picked up several more nice beeliners, some throwback snapper, some big sea bass, and 2 more cobia (25lbs and 50lbs). Headed back in at 40mph on a nice ocean. Sure wish it would have started that way. Oh well, we were fishing so it didn't matter. Great crew and a fishbox full of fish.
