Welcome to Team Buck Rogers Charter Fishing. I am Capt. Chad Starling and I have been fishing these waters since I was 5 years old. I have lived here and fished here my entire life. I offer deep sea fishing trips out of Mayport, Florida or St. Augustine, Florida. I offer trolling and bottom fishing for up to 6 passengers. I target the most aggressive game fish out there, to include the following offshore species; Snapper, Grouper, Kingfish, Amberjack, Cobia, Dolphin, Wahoo, Sailfish, etc. I also offer inshore sheepshead charters during winter and spring. Our charters are designed to provide you with an enjoyable, relaxing day of fishing, and an opportunity to just have fun while picking up a few new tricks to help you become a better fisherman, fisherwoman, or fisherkid. We want you to leave happy and we will stop at nothing to achieve that goal. All trips include rods, reels , tackle, bait and licenses for up to 6 people. All you need to bring is your food and drink, and a cooler for your fish. There is an additional fee if you want your fish cleaned! Any one is welcome to bring their own gear. Well can you say thermocline? The water temperature has dropped tremendously and it seems the fish have pushed offshore a bit. Oh yeah, gas is $4.10 per gallon and the fish have moved farther out. Not good. We hit BB and baited up today and fished a couple of spots there. Chris started struggling with something strong; turned out to be an 18lb red snapper. We left there and went to EF; nothing! Left there and went to HL; nothing again! left there and went to BR. We anchored down and finished pretty good with about 20 beeliners, a black sea bass, a ringtail porgy, 7 amberjack from 20-30lbs (released several others within that range), the 18lb red snapper, and a kitty mitchel. Keep those rods bent!
